Good to know

Questions we hear often.

What guests ask us before they arrive. Not finding your answer? Write or call — we reply within the day.

What time can we check in and check out?

Let us know your expected arrival time when you book — we confirm the check-in and check-out times for your dates. Arriving late, or leaving after a long lunch? Write or call and we will arrange it.

Is breakfast included?

Yes. Book directly with us and breakfast is included in every rate. It is served from 07:30 to 10:00 in the salon — bread, fruit, charcuterie and dairy, most of it from the valley.

Is the spa free for hotel guests?

Yes — every guest has free access to the heated indoor pool (08:00 – 20:00), the sauna and steam cabin (15:00 – 19:00) and the fitness room (08:00 – 20:00). Massages and treatments are charged separately; we recommend booking them three days ahead.

When is Brasserie Marie open?

From Wednesday to Sunday the kitchen serves continuously from 12:00. On Tuesday it opens at 16:00, for house guests only. On Sunday a longer menu at €75 sits alongside the à la carte. A table is quickly reserved by phone or from the booking page.

Is there parking at the hotel?

There is parking on site, included in every stay. Most guests leave the car there for the rest of the week: the trails start at the door and the village is a short walk away.

Where can I leave my bike or motorbike?

We have a locked room for bikes and motorbikes. Mention it when you book and we will keep a place for you — the Mullerthal cycling routes run right past the house.

Do the hiking trails really start at the hotel?

They do. Grundhof lies where the Mullerthal opens onto the Sûre, and the 112 waymarked kilometres of the Mullerthal Trail pass the door. The Schiessentümpel waterfall and Echternach are ten minutes by car, Beaufort castle barely further. At reception we gladly draw you a loop to match the weather.

Are pets welcome?

No — unfortunately we are unable to welcome pets at the hotel.
